CLAIM FOR MONETARY DAMAGES

Due to unconstitutional actions by government, specifically actions in violation of due process and just compensation

As required by the 5th Amendment to the U. S. Constitution, pursuant to the following excerpt:

"………. nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation."

For over 80 years your government has continuously increased its strangle hold on your land by passing act after act, law after law, restriction after restriction and ordinance after ordinance, with reckless disregard for the protections contained in the 5th Amendment to the U. S. Constitution.  Not to mention that government has egregiously abused their right of eminent domain and has taken private property for the sole purpose of increasing the tax base to government, not for a truly government purpose, like roads or schools.  The U. S. Supreme Court's Kelo decision in 2005, actually gave more power to government to abuse eminent domain.

Almost every landowner in America has become a victim to this abuse by government.  Sad tales abound all across America of people losing not only their life's savings, but their land itself in trying to fight or resist government's confiscation and over-regulation.

It is time to fight back!!!

Landowners by the tens of thousands need to file claims against the government for unconstitutional damages they have sustained at the hands of an out-of-control government, whom has lost all allegiance to constitutional protections and safeguards to property rights and individual liberty.  NARLO has prepared a sample of a claim form in Acrobat PDF format, that you can use for this purpose.  The form is designed to be filed with the executive of the specific branch of government to which you are forwarding your claim: Federal, state, county or city.  The form is only an example.  You are free to revise it if there are specific areas or damages you would like to emphasize.

To increase the number of people who receive your claim, besides the executive, we suggest that copies be sent to your city, county, state or congressional legislators.  It is suggested that you send copies to the directors of specific bureaucracies that may be responsible for the law or ordinance that has created the reduction in your right-of-use, or a decrease in the value of your property.  We also suggest that you file a copy with the local or national  print or electronic news media.  And finally, be sure to tell your neighbors, friends, relatives and business associates about filing a claim for damages.  Print out multiple copies of our form and pass them around to interested parties. Many individual claims from the same geographical area, like a neighborhood, will have great impact.

Be advised that filing of a claim with government for monetary damages is largely symbolic.  It is strictly a form of protest.  Its effect will come only if tens of thousands of Americans, who have had it with government abuse, file a claim.  By sheer numbers, the impact will roll across America like a wind-driven grass fire.  The news media will pick it up and government will have to listen.

A printable .pdf version of the claim form is located HERE.
